Peaster had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Breckenridge Buckaroos as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.

Payton Kreh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Selah Salmons, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more RBI the last four times she's played. Abigail Wiley was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Peaster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .393 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

Peaster pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Breckenridge, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-15-1 record.

Looking ahead, Peaster will be playing in front of their home fans against Holliday at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Breckenridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
