Softball Recap: Trinity Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Trinity came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Edmonson County Wildcats. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Edmonson County, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Edmonson County will welcome Grayson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats face off against Bowling Green, they'll take on Trinity again at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
