Volleyball Recap: Greer Middle College Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Greer Middle College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Prep Stars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-5.

Mountain View Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jarrard Mercer, who had six aces and four digs. That's the most digs Mercer has posted over her last five contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Burgess, who had 15 assists and five digs.

Greer Middle College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Mountain View Prep, their victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 28-2.

As of now, neither Greer Middle College nor the Stars have any future games scheduled.
