Soccer Recap: Norland Gets the Win

Norland had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Norland Vikings who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for they, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Norland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Carol City, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

After both having extra time off, Norland and International Studies will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 3:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Norland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Carol City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Miami Beach at 3:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
