It was a good run, but Green Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Basha Bears by a score of 2-1.

Green Valley's offense was headlined by Zechariah Nissley and David Davila, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Jeremiah Nissley and his 18 assists. Finally, Preston Whiting kept Green Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Green Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Basha, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Green Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cheyenne on the 31st. As for Basha, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Metro Tech on the 29th.
