Clovis East had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Clovis North on Thursday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Broncos. The victory was familiar territory for the Timberwolves, who have now won three matches in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Clovis North scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-23.

Clovis East's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Clovis North, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.
