The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots will head out to face off against the Scripps Ranch Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Academy of Our Lady of Peace turned things around against Mar Vista on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Mariners with a sharp 11-4 victory. The Pilots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

At the plate, Samantha Gehler was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Brooke Lemley also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
