While Ohio County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Crittenden County Rockets by a score of 5-1 on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Collin Bullock, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Wise, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Ohio County's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Crittenden County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ohio County beat the Rockets by a score of 13-3 later that day.
