Football Recap: Arvada West Extends Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arvada West). They claimed a resounding 53-0 win over the Columbine Rebels. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

One reason for the win was Arvada West's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Alex Antill was the leader with three. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Grace Schillie got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games.
