Volleyball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Hastings extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping them down to 4-22. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Northwest Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Kaisley Tillemans paced Hastings' offense, picking up seven kills. Tillemans got some help from Adaline Nelson and her 17 assists.

As for Lincoln Northwest, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-22 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since August 30th.

Leading Lincoln Northwest to victory were Lilly Keifer and Savannah Martin. Keifer had 19 digs and one assist, while Martin had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Keifer has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Hastings will host Norris on Thursday. As for Lincoln Northwest, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Blair on the 11th.
