Volleyball Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Edgewater Eagles. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-14.

Evans' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Edgewater, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Evans will face off against University at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Edgewater, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crooms Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
