Volleyball Game Preview: Cherokee Bluff Bears vs. North Forsyth Raiders

Cherokee Bluff is 0-4 against North Forsyth since August of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bears will take on the Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Cherokee Bluff is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

On Thursday, Cherokee Bluff beat Chattahoochee 2-0.

Cherokee Bluff never let Chattahoochee on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth faced Pace Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The shutout was out of character for the Raiders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Cherokee Bluff's win bumped their record up to 24-11. As for North Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 21-5.

Cherokee Bluff couldn't quite get it done against North Forsyth in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
