Volleyball Recap: Fannett Metal Comes Up Short

Fannett Metal lost against Everett on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Fannett Metal came up short against Everett, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-4, 25-12.

Leading Everett to victory were Karis McLanahan and Aly Kifer. McLanahan had five aces and one assist, while Kifer had eight assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Kifer a new career-high. Ava Donaldson also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Fannett Metal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Everett, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Fannett Metal is taking a road trip to challenge Southern Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
