After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madison, Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lanesville Eagles. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-9.

Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Carly Stevens, who had nine digs and six aces.

Stevens wasn't the only good servers: Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Lanesville, they dropped their record down to 11-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against West Washington on the 25th. As for Lanesville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against New Washington on the 25th.
