Basketball Recap: Strake Jesuit Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Strake Jesuit won the last time they faced Alief Elsik and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders enjoyed a cozy 49-32 win over the Alief Elsik Rams. Given the Fighting Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Rams are ranked 471st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alief Elsik's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Edwards, who posted four points and six boards. Collin McGee was another key player, putting up four points.
