If Bellows Free Academy beats Mt. Mansfield with 61 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Everything went Bellows Free Academy's way against South Burlington on Tuesday as Bellows Free Academy made off with a 61-40 win. The Bobwhites/Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Mansfield). They put the hurt on Colchester with a sharp 60-34 victory on Saturday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Vermont basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Lakers are ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bellows Free Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mt. Mansfield, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
