Softball Recap: Warsaw Comes Up Short

Warsaw lost against Geneseo back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 4-1 to the Blue Devils. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Warsaw's defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Geneseo, their record now sits at 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Warsaw is set to take on their familiar foe Letchworth at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Geneseo will square off against rival Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 1.7, the Braves 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
