Volleyball Recap: Murtaugh Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Murtaugh entered their match against Hagerman on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Red Devils fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Murtaugh took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-29, 21-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Murtaugh's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Hagerman, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Murtaugh is set to take on their familiar foe Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hagerman will square off against rival Lighthouse Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
