Soccer Recap: San Dieguito Academy Comes Up Short

San Dieguito Academy's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Rancho Bernardo Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 636th, while the Broncos are ranked 122nd).

San Dieguito Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-10-5 record this season. As for Rancho Bernardo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Dieguito Academy will challenge Torrey Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rancho Bernardo, they will square off against Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
