Recap: Harrisburg Cougars vs. Central Dauphin Rams
The Harrisburg Cougars lost against the Central Dauphin Rams on January 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Harrisburg fell to Central Dauphin 51-45. Harrisburg has struggled against Central Dauphin recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Dauphin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jelani Easter, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shakur Starling, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Harrisburg has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Central Dauphin, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.
Harrisburg will head out on the road to square off against Central Dauphin East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Dauphin, they will be playing at home against Cumberland Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
