Volleyball Recap: Malden Victorious

It was close, but on Saturday the Malden Green Wave sidestepped the Doniphan Dons for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Green Wave.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Malden got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-20.

Malden's victory bumped their record up to 6-1-3. As for Doniphan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Malden has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Zalma on the 13th. As for Doniphan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against New Madrid County Central on the 15th.
