Softball Recap: Ursuline Academy Bears vs. Maimonides M-Cats

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Ursuline Academy brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They came out on top against the Maimonides M-Cats on Monday by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The contest marked the Bears' most dominant win of the season.

Emersyn Smart was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
