Sterlington's and Grant's matchup on Tuesday was close at halftime, but Sterlington turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. Everything went the Sterlington Panthers' way against the Grant Cougars as the Sterlington Panthers made off with a 6-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Sterlington has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Grant, they dropped their record down to 1-13-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Union Parish the next time they take the pitch. Grant will head out to face Union Parish at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Sterlington will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
