Softball Recap: Tuscarora Titans vs. Brunswick Railroaders

Tuscarora extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping them down to 1-11. They lost 14-0 to the Brunswick Railroaders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Titans haven't been shut out since back in March.

Tuscarora saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tiana Shelton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Shelton's first of the season.

As for Brunswick, the victory got them back to even at 8-8. Considering they have won five games by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

On Brunswick's side, they got a massive performance out of Juliette Bel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Bel has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Lowery, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tuscarora is set to challenge their familiar foe Oakdale on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Brunswick will face off against rival Middletown on Wednesday.
