Baseball Recap: Loveland Takes a Loss

Loveland lost against Lebanon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 7-6. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Derek Fleming was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Dylan Hacker was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Loveland's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Lebanon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

While Loveland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
