Softball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart lost against Rouse back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lockhart lost 13-2 to Rouse. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lockhart saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Presli Moebes, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Moebes' first of the season.

Lockhart's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Rouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lockhart will welcome Lehman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehman has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.65 runs per game on average), something Lockhart will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rouse, they will be playing at home against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
