Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwestern). They blew past the Allegany-Limestone Gators 21-6 on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Lucas Genareo made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Genareo was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Southwestern got a massive performance out of Judd Harris, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Oscar Harris, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Southwestern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Allegany-Limestone only posted a batting average of .304.

Southwestern now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Allegany-Limestone, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Southwestern will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Gators: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
