Softball Preview: Landstown Eagles vs. Kellam Knights
Landstown is 0-10 against Kellam since May of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Landstown is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since March 25th on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Princess Anne 3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Hailey Akers made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched.
