Basketball Recap: Flint River Academy Triumphs

Flint River Academy hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost six straight) but thanks in part to Reagan Riner that streak is no more. The Flint River Academy Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Skipstone Academy Warriors 42-14 thanks in part to Riner, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.7 steals per game.

The victory got Flint River Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Skipstone Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Flint River Academy will take on Westwood in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flint River Academy is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Skipstone Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on New Creation Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
