Basketball Recap: Chapelgate Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Greater Grace Christian Academy

Chapelgate Christian Academy won the last time they faced Greater Grace Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets claimed a resounding 73-37 victory over the Eagles. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-12.

Chapelgate Christian Academy was led to victory by Paul Ayivor and Derek Eaton. Ayivor went 8-for-12 on his way to 19 points along with five boards and five steals, while Eaton shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. Those 19 points gave Ayivor a new career-high. Jahsir Wesley was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

Chapelgate Christian Academy's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Chapelgate Christian Academy will head out to square off against Sandy Spring Friends at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greater Grace Christian Academy, they will welcome Yeshiva at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
