Perhaps the best among them was Ryas Ferguson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The game was Ferguson's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Ryker, who shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and three blocks.

The North Carolina Leadership Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Mount Airy didn't have too much trouble with Cornerstone Charter Academy on Friday as they won 78-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Granite Bears.

The North Carolina Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Mount Airy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

The North Carolina Leadership Academy strolled past Mount Airy in their previous meeting last Wednesday by a score of 65-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
