Palos Verdes had won three straight at home, but  on Friday they bumped up to 6-3 to make it four. They strolled past the Inglewood Sentinels with  points to spare, taking the game  31-12. For the Sea Kings, this counts as revenge for the   37-3 victory the Sentinels walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palos Verdes to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ryan Rakowski, who threw for 134 yards and two  TDs on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 51 yards. Rakowski's passing game has become a key predictor of the Sea Kings' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. 106 of  Rakowski's passing yards were hauled in by Shou Murakami-Moses, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Palos Verdes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Nick Yakubik. Another thorn in Inglewood's side was  Weston Reis, who made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
As for Inglewood, they now  have a losing record of 4-5. Despite 206 more yards than Palos Verdes, the Sentinels couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
 Inglewood lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Marlon Watson, who rushed for 118 yards on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lincoln Jahn, who threw for 254 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt.

That  game will pit two of the most dominant  signal callers against one another:  Rakowski and  Liam Meeker. Meanwhile, Inglewood will  face off against  rival Culver City  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
