Basketball Game Preview: Sports Leadership & Management Spartans vs. Calvary Christian Warriors

The Sports Leadership & Management Spartans will head out to face off against the Calvary Christian Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sports Leadership & Management is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.1 points per game this season.

Sports Leadership & Management's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Qiana Arlt led the charge by putting up 24 points and seven steals. Arlt is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillayah McClendon, who shot 71% from the field on her way to 12 points along with six boards and four steals.

Calvary Christian played against Patel on Friday and won via forfeit.

The victory keeps Calvary Christian at an undefeated 9-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points on average this season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their record is now 7-2.
