Jackson County won the last time they faced Monterey and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

While Jackson County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Monterey scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 17-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Jules Looper paced Jackson County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Looper got some help from Lillianne Wilson and her ten assists.

Jackson County's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Monterey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Jackson County will challenge Harpeth at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monterey, they will take on Red Boiling Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
