Basketball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

After flying high against Airport last Wednesday, Huron came back down to earth. The Huron Chiefs were dealt a 65-38 defeat at the hands of the Flat Rock Rams on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 57-44 defeat back in February.

The loss snapped Huron's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-11 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Flat Rock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flat Rock, they will be taking part in a tournament against Adrian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
