Volleyball Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Alabama Christian Academy was the 2-1 winner over Wetumpka when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Indians on Monday.

Wetumpka was led to victory by Ashlynn Turner and Kimaya Lanius. Turner had 24 digs, while Lanius had 11 digs. That's the most digs Turner has posted since back in October of 2024.

Alabama Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Wetumpka, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Alabama Christian Academy will welcome Thorsby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wetumpka, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Elmore County on the 29th.
