Basketball Recap: Tupper Lake Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins at Home

The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 45-44 to the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets. The match marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Tupper Lake lost, don't look at Felix Bodeewes. Despite the final result, he went 11 for 18 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 59.1% of Tupper Lake's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Clark, who had eight points and seven rebounds.

Tupper Lake's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Madrid-Waddington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
