League recap: Lane overpowering for Eustace in past week

2A Region II District 13 league recap: 4/3/13

Eustace's Trevor Lane was the best pitcher in 2A Region II District 13 this week. He struck out 14 batters this week.

This week saw Palmer come away with the most league victories in the league, with one.

The Bulldogs boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

Four batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Tyler Lowe, who hit .750 by going 3-for-4.

Isaac Lopez hit four home runs this week.



Forrest Lane was an RBI machine on Thursday, as he knocked in four runs during the Bulldogs' 13-9 win over Life Red Oak. He went 3-for-4 and scored two runs.

Kemp's Lane struck out 14 Eustace hitters en route to a 3-1 victory on March 26. Over his 12 innings pitched he allowed three runs on nine hits.
