Soccer Recap: GREEN Upstate Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

GREEN Upstate and Dixie squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but GREEN Upstate had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. GREEN Upstate haven't had much luck with Dixie recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

GREEN Upstate's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Dixie, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

GREEN Upstate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dixie, they will take on Hardeeville at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hardeeville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dixie surely won't give up without a fight.
