Madison Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Scottsboro Wildcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Academy pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Scottsboro, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Academy will challenge James Clemens at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. James Clemens' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Madison Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Scottsboro, they will take on Hazel Green at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
