Basketball Game Preview: Barrington Eagles vs. Lincoln Lions

The Barrington Eagles will square off against the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Barrington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Classical, who was ranked third at the time (Barrington was ranked seventh). Barrington came up short against Classical on Sunday, falling 60-40. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Barrington's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Rigamonti, who posted 19 points, and Colin McDermott, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 65-37 loss at the hands of Classical.

Barrington's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
