Softball Recap: Trabuco Hills Comes Up Short

Trabuco Hills came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the San Clemente Tritons, falling 6-0. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tritons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Trabuco Hills has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for San Clemente, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-1 record this season.

San Clemente will be playing at home against San Juan Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trabuco Hills will be paying especially close attention to the Tritons' matchup: after the Tritons face off against the Stallions, they'll take on Trabuco Hills again at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
