Paramus Catholic is still undefeated this season after their game against Vernon on Saturday, but Vernon came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Knght Paladins' pitchers stepped up to hand the Vikings a 1-0 shutout. The Knght Paladins' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.

Paramus Catholic's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Paramus Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 victory against Hoboken on the 6th. As for Vernon, they will take on Lenape Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
