Basketball Recap: Church Point Takes a Loss

Church Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The match between them and the Westminster Academy Crusaders didn't end well, with the Church Point Bears falling 42-27. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Church Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westminster Academy, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Church Point will host Lafayette Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dunham at 6:00 p.m.
