Basketball Recap: West Hall Comes Up Short

West Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt an 86-28 defeat at the hands of the Cherokee Bluff Bears. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Cherokee Bluff, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

West Hall has already played their next match (against Oconee County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cherokee Bluff will face off against East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cherokee Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 games -- so hopefully East Hall likes a good challenge.
