Softball Recap: Mabel-Canton Cougars vs. Hayfield Vikings

Mabel-Canton easily dispatched Spring Grove on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Cougars fell just short of the Hayfield Vikings by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 13-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.
