 Dakota Valley can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Thursday. They never let the Vermillion Tanagers onto the board and left with  a   12-0  victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Dakota Valley considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.
  Beau Pollema tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Dakota Valley let  Jackson Boonstra and  Beau Jones loose on the outfield. Boonstra  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Jones  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.  Grant Van Den Hul was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Dakota Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-1.
 Dakota Valley will head out on the road to  take on  Canton at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Dakota Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season.
