Baseball Recap: Bear Creek Triumphs

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Bear Creek ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Amador Buffaloes 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bruins have posted since March 25th.

Bear Creek saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Castellano, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. Those two hits gave Castellano a new career-high. Another was Jacob Ordez, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Bear Creek and bumps their season record up to 11-11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Amador, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5-1.
