Oakland put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Camas Valley Hornets with a sharp 22-9 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Oakland also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Maddie Dalberti made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Dalberti has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Dalberti was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Oakland got a massive performance out of Teagan Fauver, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple. Gwen Field was another key contributor, going 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI.

As for Camas Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge North Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Douglas will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Camas Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
