Recap: Helias Crusaders vs. Tipton Cardinals
The Helias Crusaders waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Tipton by a score of 52-43.
Despite the defeat, Tipton had strong showings from Courtney Edwards, who scored 14 points along with two blocks, and Clara Williams, who scored 17 points along with six steals. Williams hasn't dropped below 16 points for nine straight games. Ava Schlotzhauer was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
Helias' win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Tipton, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helias will take on Capital City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tipton, they will be playing at home against Stover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
